Claire

My name is Claire Ritchie and I am a self-confessed dog lover living in Bangor, not far from Ballyholme Beach. The Pet Nannies came about because through my love of dogs, family and friends would often ask me to care for their pets when they were away. So I decided to offer the service to others.

Charmaine

Hi, my name is Charmaine Baxter and welcome to The Pet Nannies. I have always been a great animal lover and have been lucky enough to share my life with many different pets - dogs, cats, rabbits, fish and birds. My earliest memory of having a pet was sneaking a stray kitten into my bedroom and praying no-one would notice it move under the duvet!

My compassion for animals led me to volunteer with the Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary (a place that I like to retreat to from the hustle and bustle of everyday life) where I enjoy spending quality time with the many homeless or unwanted dogs.

My love of animals and voluntary work at the Sanctuary was the driving force behind 'The Pet Nannies'.

I have a beautiful dog of my own (Susie), who just loves being chauffeured about in the doggie-mobile.

I am currently studying for my Diploma in Small Animal Care.
